OPPORTUNITIES TO SHOW OUR LOVE FOR GOD- 2

EXPRESSING OUR LOVE BY SERVING HIM IN HIS WORK

THE WORK OF SERVING GOD IS NOT DONE WITH DILIGENCE
- IT IS THE LAST PRIORITY AMONG COMPETING NEEDS
- MUCH MINISTRY IS MOTIVATED BY SELF-GLORY AND NOT LOVE FOR THE LORD.
- BAD EXAMPLES IN THE LORD’S SERVICE PUTTING OFF MANY FROM CONSIDERING THE LORD’S WORK
- THOUGH WE ARE FORGIVEN MUCH, OUR ACTIONS BETRAY OUR RESPONSE
- THANK GOD FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE SERVING GOD
- WE WILL ALSO SERVE GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART, SOUL, MIND AND STRENGTH
- WE WILL SERVE HIM WHILE THE OPPORTUNITIES LAST,
- GREAT UNITY IN THE WORK
- STORIES OF OUR LOVE AND SERVICE WILL CHALLENGE OTHERS
- CONSISTENCY AND APPLICATION TO HIS WORK.

EXPRESSING OUR LOVE BY NOT GOING IN OUR WAYS

- WORLD AND CHURCH GOT MIXED UP
- HIS WAY IS THE LAST OPTION WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKS
- GOD’S WAY NEEDS FAITH, RISK, SOMETIMES RIDICULE, SUFFERING – WE AVOID THEM
- UNBELIEF THAT HIS WAYS CAN PRODUCE GREAT RESULTS
- OUR WORK WILL COME OUT OF A DEEP FELLOWSHIP AND HEARING FROM HIM
- WE WILL HAVE THE PATIENCE TO DO WHAT GOD WANTS
- HIS VALUE SYSTEM ABOUT EVERYTHING IN MAKING DECISIONS
- ABILITY TO TRUST HIM EVEN WHEN THINGS ARE NOT CLEAR
- ATTITUDE OF SURRENDER AND WILLINGNESS TO ACCEPT HIS WAYS
- GOD WILL ALLOW US TO BELIEVE FOR DOING EXPLOITS IN THESE DAYS IN HIS NAME.
- SPEND TIME READING THE BIBLE TO KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS IN TIMES LIKE OURS.

EXPRESSING OUR LOVE BY STANDING FOR TRUTH & JUSTICE

- Most believers are silent, disconnected from reality
- Unbelief that truth and justice can prevail in the land
- Lack of support to those being denied justice
- To be concerned about the absence of justice,
- Christians would be among the law makers & enforcers
- Boldness of the early apostles in standing for the right
- Organizations dealing with human rights,
- God will forgive the sins of omission of the Church
- Pro poor justice organisations will rise
- Laws to improve gender ratios affected by the killing of babies.

EXPRESSING OUR LOVE BY LOVING THE POOR…ALIENS…MARGINALISED

- Elitism has crept into the Church and alienates the marginalised
- Church support towards upliftment of the poor is insufficient
- Plentiful opportunities to upskill marginalised women unutilized
- We too, like God will have the heart to embrace them
- All elitism will end in the church
- Many projects will be started for women & children
- The church will exist for non-members
- Great need for talented, gifted and concerned people
- Legislations that stop good work. Self help groups winding up.
- We will not become weary doing good
- Believe that it is better to give than to receive and live a giving life
