CHILD ABUSE & TRAFFICKING

•In 2022, India witnessed a staggering 8.7% increase in child abuse cases (NCRB)

•Many cases go unreported due to fear and social stigma

•Nearly 55% of children in India have experienced some kind of abuse (National Commission for Protection of Child Rights)

•Another study says that over 90% of Indian children experience some form of abuse before they reach the age of 18

•Reflection of social media influence, drug use

•Child labor still prevalent in many parts…50% of human trafficking is child trafficking

•Irreparable psychological damage on children, impacting their growth and development.

PRAY FOR:

•Strong laws will yield results

•Safety and well being of children will be top priority for govt and families

•Church will have clear cut action plans for children, focusing on the future

•There will be Godly teachers and mentors whom children can confide with

•Strong resistance from judiciary and police.
